BORN innocently into the maelstrom: the first peak of the Post War Baby Boom.

Incurably ADDICTED to big screen cinema after seeing King Kong at age five… thrice.

WASTED junior high and high school reading about Sherlock Holmes, Fu Manchu and Dr. Gideon Fell.

 

RECEIVED a BA in English Literature from Washington University (St. Louis) with little else to show for it.

 

SERVED as a Peace Corps English teacher in Morocco for two years, which presented the world beyond the Midwest for the first time.

WORKED as a Juvenile Court caseworker in St. Louis County, while learning still photography, got married, and thought about making movies.

STUDIED  filmmaking at NYU’s Graduate Institute of Film & Television, mentored by Hollywood director Laslo Benedek.

​

SIRED Melissa Cahill, got divorced, started a 25 year job in video production at NYU School of Law.

LAUNCHED a successful free-lance career in video production, chiefly working with major international law firms.

 

PARTNERED with Janet Gornick, traveled widely

SETTLED into a restless semi-retirement, still looking for new projects.
